അച്ചപ്പം (മലബാർ ചോയ്സ്)

Achappam is a deep fried rose cookie made with rice flour and is a specialty delicacy from Kerala. They are made from a batter of blended wheat flour, eggs, sugar and whole milk. A heated, patterned iron is dipped in the batter and then immediately dipped into the hot oil to get the crispy, patterned cookie formed as a shell around the iron.
